The singer’s taking a break from social media! Demi Lovato took to her platform to tell her followers that they might not see her on their feeds for a while. ‘Taking a break for a while. Be kind,’ she simply wrote on IG stories.
Her decision comes not too long after Demi showed support to Scooter Braun amid his online drama with Taylor Swift.
As you may know, the famed manager purchased Big Machine Records, which is Swift’s former record label.
That means that the singer’s entire music catalog is now owned by him.
Taylor was obviously upset about that, especially since she claims he’d bullied her for years.
She also claimed she only found out about the sale of Scott Borchetta’s former label from the media but the man denied it, saying he did, in fact sent her a text, giving Taylor a chance to buy the rights of her albums.
The entertainment industry pretty much split into Swift and Braun supporters and it looks like Demi joined the latter group.
‘I have dealt with many bad people in the industry and Scooter isn’t one of them. He is a good man. Personally, I am grateful that he came into my life when he did. Please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them. There is enough hate in this world as it is,’ she previously wrote on Stories.

After getting hate for her stance, she added: ‘Y’all can come after me all you want but I am always going to stay loyal to my team. I value loyalty more than a lot of other people in this world and if my name’s gonna be brought into conversations I am going to stand up for myself and the ones on my team.’
