Belarus’ national final took place, yesterday, along with the Georgian national final. NAVI came out on top with their Belarusian-language song titled “Historyja Majho Zyccia”, which in English translates to “Story of My Life”. They will be off to Kyiv, Ukraine in May to represent their country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
The duo consists of Arciom Lukjanienka and Ksienija Zuk and they formed NAVI in 2013. They released their debut album the following year. All of their songs are sung in the Belarusian language, and this one is no different.
The winner was decided by a jury and televote. They topped the jury vote, which gave them 12 points; they came fifth in the televote, giving them six points. This allowed them to win, with only three points separating them from second place.
The song is an upbeat joyous track that will surely stand out at Eurovision 2017. There is stiff competition; many of the announced acts being superb vocalists.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2017 is set to be the most competitive year yet. It will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine; after Jamala won with “1944” last year.
The other acts that have been confirmed so far are: Cyprus’ Hovig, the Netherlands’ O’G3NE, Belgium’s Blanche, Macedonia’s Jana Burceska, Azerbaijan’s Dihaj, Ireland’s Brendan Murray, Austria’s Nathan Trent, Albania’s Lindita, Armenia’s Artsvik, Montenegro’s Slavko Kalezic, Greece’s Demy, and Georgia’s Tako Gachechiladze.
The semi-finals of Eurovision 2017 will take place on 9 May and 11 May, with the Grand Final set to take place on 13 May 2017.
