In early 2023, Tanmay was a part of Kotak811’s campaign #SamayKoSahiKaamPeLagao. After the campaign faced criticism due to Tanmay’s old tweets on child rape and Lord Ganesha, it was paused.
In June 2023, Tanmay’s YouTube channel with over 4.4 million subscribers got hacked. His channel was renamed to ‘Tesla Corp’. His channel was already enabled with 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) which was bypassed by the hackers.
