Three-star CB Taylor Starling, one of more than a dozen Colorado commits who parted ways with the Buffaloes after Deion Sanders took over as head coach, lands at North Texas.
Starling is a product of two-time state champion South Oak Cliff High in Dallas. After reopening his recruitment in December, he committed to Texas State but new North Texas head coach Eric Morris was able to convince Starling to stay home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Penn State lands four-star OL Chimdy Onoh
Penn State put a bow on its 2023 football recruiting class with Wednesday’s addition of four-star offensive lineman Chimdy Onoh.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound offensive tackle from Dundalk High School near Baltimore picked Penn State over Ole Miss, Rutgers and Michigan State. He’s ranked as the No. 257 prospect and No. 20 offensive tackle in the 247Sports Composite, and Power 5 interest in him skyrocketed in December, when he decommitted from Old Dominion.
His addition further speaks to just how much talent James Franklin and Phil Trautwein are compiling up front. Onoh’s commitment is a luxury of sorts, and that’s saying something because he’s a top-300 prospect and those kinds of offensive linemen haven’t always been easy to come by for the Nittany Lions.
